Hey Readers!
Holy canole when did it turn into March? Last I remember I was getting on a plane to go to Disney World! Needless to say it has been a whirlwind last two weeks. I know two weeks is a lot to play catch up in a blog post, so I promise I will keep this short and readable!
Let’s start with the much anticipated trip to Florida. Now I know everyone is very concerned with covid 19 that is going around. I am not as concerned as the media is making it out to be. I’ve also looked at the data that shows the majority of those impacted by the virus are not in my age bracket. Granted even with this virus Disney was still pretty full. I went with three other women from Ohio. The four day trip was simply not enough time to do it all! We shoved as many rides into the trip as we could! I know we tried eating and drinking around the world, needless to say I only had about 2 1/2 drinks. The rest I took sips of the girls, because I knew I could not finish them all. We had dinner in Norway and oh my yum! Their dumplings are so good! I have learned I love lavender sake from Japan. I definitely don’t have a favorite part of the trip since there was just so much! I’ll try to post some highlights below!
When I came back I went right into my full time job! No rest for the wicked here. That weekend I was able to shadow Ana from Michael Anastasia Photography. She is one of the kindest women I have ever met and had the pleasure of working beside. I was able to see how she works weddings and handles all of the hustle and bustle. It was so awe inspiring how she guides people for poses and to capture those genuine moments we both love!
This past Sunday I naturally planned a full day with one of my girls to play catch up! We all met in Downtown Wilmington for the dessert festival at Waterline Brewery. There I was able to try out so many different desserts from local vendors. I’ll list them and the photos below. But the cake push pops I have listed.. Try them out! They were sooo good! I came home with at least $30 worth of desserts to share with Matt that night. We finished our downtown fun with a trip to my favorite lunch spot at Front Street Brewery! Naturally we got the pulled chicken nachos and I bought the burrito! It was safe to say after our downtown adventure I went home to rest on the couch… Not nap mind you, just rest. I found out The CW did a Nancy Drew tv show… Guys you need to go watch it. I was sucked in! Very much like the books and games.
I think you’re all caught up now! I hope you have an amazing week!
XOXO

Spring Dessert Market Vendors:
I knew from the moment our engagement session started in February that Joe & Sam’s wedding was going to be a tear-filled day — not just their eyes, but mine too. I’m a total softie when it comes to love. It’s what drew me into this industry in the first place. And these two? They […]
There’s just something about spring that brings stories to life. The sun feels warmer, the flowers show off, and love seems to radiate through every soft breeze and golden hour glow. I recently had the honor of photographing two incredible couples—Cyrus & Chloe and Grace & Anthony—on back-to-back spring days, and it felt like living inside two fairytales. Their sessions were filled with blooms, romance, and nods to their personal love stories. So I’m bundling both into one dreamy post.
Let’s get entirely too excited together, shall we? 💐✨
Winter engagement sessions always have a special kind of magic—snowy landscapes, intimate moments, and cozy vibes that make everything feel like a winter wonderland. I had the pleasure of capturing two amazing couples this season, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking. Katie & Hunter: Snow, Stairs, and Sweet Moments We kicked off Katie […]
When you imagine a wedding, you might picture bright daylight, sparkling windows, and an airy ambiance. But what if I told you that a wedding could be just as magical in the intimate glow of a darker setting? Welcome to the unforgettable celebration of this couple’s love at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
Gina & Cody’s wedding at Yankee Lake Ballroom was full of love, laughter, and joyful tears. See their emotional first look and dreamy portraits at Buhl Park!
Earlier in the day, both Jake and Veronique were getting ready in separate rooms. Although they were apart, you could sense the nervous excitement from both of them. Each one was eagerly anticipating the moment they would meet at the altar. As a result, the energy in both rooms was a beautiful mix of butterflies and joy. Because of this, the day felt even more special and full of love.
Capturing heartfelt, magical moments that sparkle with love and stay with you forever.
