Hey Readers!
Whoever said Sunday was a day of rest clearly had more than two days off or just didn’t have a lot of errands. I bet it was someone who had groceries delivered to their house and put away by elves! They probably had dinner delivered by DoorDash and the house was cleaned by Mr. Clean himself! Holy Carp has this weekend just been busy. I know I told you I was going to post daily, I tried! I really did, but there just was not enough hours in the day. Don’t get me wrong I always have something to talk about, but man finding the time to spit it out is a whole other story!
This Saturday I spent the day with Matt. Which is still an adjustment and aweing in itself, since for 9 months we did not have a set day off together. So Saturday was set for a day of leisure. Granted that still entailed getting my nails done, which he thankfully tagged along for and went to Home Depot. Then as a surprise for hanging around for my cute nails I went and surprised us with The Peppered Cupcake cupcakes… uhm yum! If you are an ILM native or just visiting I definitely recommend checking them out! Their Racine location even offers Gluten Free ones on specific days! After that I went home to finish cooking dinner (crack chicken lasagna roll ups, also a must try) then we finished the evening with Ant Man and Wasp.
It was a great way to end the night, but waking up Sunday was a whole new level of stuff to do. My one girlfriend and I went to visit another friend whose been out due to surgery. We stayed and chatted with her for a bit, then off to see her personal trainer… Guys I don’t do fitness.. Okay that’s a lie. I do do fitness, but I haven’t in a while. Think back to like pre holidays. I didn’t have the time to squish a gym visit between sessions and my full time job. I was lucky to have time to cook dinner! After the gym where I lose a good chunk of air we went off to Clean Eats for an açaí bowl and smoothie to recharge. Then we ran to the grocery store for pickup and the dollar store for various things. I am literally writing this after taking a quick shower, running laundry, putting away groceries and have the Roomba eating all of my dust bunnies!
Being that it is Super Bowl day I am off at 5:30 to visit with friends and have Matt join us after work for the game. Trust me I am not going to watch the sport. I am in it for the ads and the wings.. I earned those wings today! Maybe home in time tonight to watch the final Avengers movie and then off to bed! Phew I am exhausted just thinking about it.. At least I’ll sleep good tonight!
Happy Sunday!
Kaitlyn

Your wedding day should be uniquely…you On Sunday, August 17th, Cyrus and Chloe celebrated their love story at Bella Amore at Enchanted Acres in Dennison, Ohio. To call their day a fairytale would be putting it mildly. Every detail — from Chloe’s floral gown to the sunset portraits we captured on the rolling Ohio hills — spoke […]

Grace & Anthony’s dreamy summer wedding at The Medberry Patch was full of soft florals, heartfelt vows, a tractor send-off (yes, really!), and a sparkler-filled ending to the perfect day. From emotional moments with family to horses joining in for portraits — this one’s got all the magic. ✨

I knew from the moment our engagement session started in February that Joe & Sam’s wedding was going to be a tear-filled day — not just their eyes, but mine too. I’m a total softie when it comes to love. It’s what drew me into this industry in the first place. And these two? They […]
