Happy Holidays Readers!

I hope all of you had a great start to your Holidays and the end of the year! These last two weeks have been such a whirlwind. I tried to get as many last minute sessions in before 2019 came to a close. The first one with the Ratchford family! I was able to meet this awesome family on Christmas Eve at Fort Fisher, North Carolina.

As a child I never understood the importance of family photos and why every year we had to get them done. As an adult behind the lens I realized these will hold memories for years to come. They allow you to look back in time and remember where you were that year. What your children looked like at that point in time and where they were in their lives.

I could not imagine having older children all at different steps in their lives and try to get schedules to align for a family photo day! I thought it was hard enough getting my parents and sister together. Needless to say thank goodness for the Holidays that bring families together. It gives the perfect time to allow everyone to get together and even capture a few photos.

Meet Craig, Joanie, Jason, Hollie, Lillie and William! We had an absolute blast capturing these fun memories! I am pretty sure at one point William realized he had a model face. He would go from smiley William to model face in under a second! He also believed he was the best and worst cook in the house. Needless to say that was immediately corrected to say Craig was the best. The worst was never disclosed.

I hope everyone had an amazing Holiday and I look forward to what 2020 has in store!
