Gina and Cody’s wedding day was one for the books! From start to finish, I couldn’t stop smiling. The day began at Gina & Cody’s house, where Cody and his groomsmen were getting ready. There were plenty of laughs, but the sweetest moment came when Cody opened a heartfelt gift from Gina. I swear there was a tear or two hanging on!

Meanwhile, over at Gina’s mom’s house, the energy was electric with bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids running around, getting ready. When Gina finally slipped into her stunning dress, she took a quiet moment to look in the mirror. That’s when it hit her—she was about to marry the love of her life! My mom (aka my trusted wedding assistant) and I both teared up—it was such a special, emotional moment.

First Look at Buhl Park: Pure Magic

We hustled over to Buhl Park for the first look. Cody was in position, clearly excited and nervous all at once. When he finally turned around and saw Gina, their reactions were priceless—huge smiles and so much joy. It was one of the sweetest first looks I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing.

The weather was perfect for their portraits in the Flower Garden, with the sun shining and a slight breeze. Homecoming groups were gathering at the park, but they were kind enough to congratulate Gina and Cody while we snagged their dreamy couple shots.

Emotional Ceremony at Yankee Lake Ballroom

Their ceremony at Yankee Lake Ballroom was packed with emotions. As Gina’s sister walked down the aisle to the Practical Magic theme song, it was such a beautiful surprise that she teared up. Cody, anxiously waiting, kept sneaking peeks down the aisle until he finally saw Gina walking with her mom. You could literally see a tear hanging on his eyelash as he watched his bride—such a tender moment!

Reception Vibes: A Party to Remember

After the ceremony, it was time to celebrate! We managed to photograph all 20 guest tables—yes, all 230 guests—before dinner was served! Gina and Cody each shared a special dance with their moms that had everyone grabbing for a napkin!

Once the dance floor opened up, the party really got started. We captured a giant dance floor shot with everyone having the time of their lives, and people didn’t stop dancing until their shoes came off! It was the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
