First of all I want to say excellent blog!

I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.

I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts
out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it
just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or
    hints? Appreciate it!

    • I take about 10-15 minutes before I actually start writing to prep my space. If I have clutter around me or music that is too high energy playing I find it takes me longer to write. If I know something is at the forefront of my mind and preventing me from writing I also address it. I let myself think of the topic a moment, then I tell myself I will revisit it and push it to the back of my mind. Then I start writing. Sometimes it takes a few good first sentences before I can get something I’m happy with
